About us

The Nystagmus Network is a registered charity in England and Wales providing support and information for everyone living with the eye condition nystagmus. The charity was founded in 1984 and has been promoting a better understanding of the condition since then as well as funding research to find effective treatments. The Nystagmus Network is a leading source of information relating to nystagmus and hosts regular events, awareness days, research workshops and forums.

At least 1 in 1,000 people have nystagmus, yet there is still so much that is not known or fully understood. The Nystagmus Network continues to support the nystagmus community and seek answers to all their questions.
